"Our business involvement with ACCES-VR has been an extremely positive experience. As a small company of 40+ employees located in a rural part of northern New York State it is sometimes difficult to find the training resources needed to educate and develop the work culture we envision for Cutie Pharma-Care, Inc. ACCES-VR has proven to be a great resource that not only helped with recruiting valuable employees, but provided extensive training to our entire workforce at our request.
Our company benefitted from using job coaching for supported employment along with the Work Try-Out program which reimbursed us the employee’s full wages for the first several weeks in his new job. Hiring employees with disabilities also allowed us to register for the Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC) which can provide a $2,400 tax credit, per person. Furthermore, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) training provided a greater understanding of people’s strengths, disability rights, etiquette, and much more which has helped to smooth the integration and training process of our new staff, all at no cost. From this training, Cutie Pharma-Care, Inc. has gained a more productive, cohesive and enthusiastic staff who are valuable assets to our developing company. ACCES-VR is a tremendous resource to businesses in New York State and we look forward to continuing to work with them."
